Responsibilities:
Assist in formulating, implementing and monitoring ESG strategic plan
Provide recommendations and strategic plan to the Management in responding to the change in market and industry trend
Maintain green and sustainable finance classification standards, expanding and conducting regular reviews, and supporting practical implementation
Responsible for regulatory communication related to classification standards, external publicity, and internal training
Act as a project manager in coordinating and implementing ESG strategic projects, and liaising with other business units
Conduct research on various sustainability-related topics
Requirements:
University graduate major in Economics / Business Administration / Finance / Environmental Science
4 years or above solid experience in banking / ESG / business planning and consultancy.
Good communication and analytical skill, self-initiative, able to work under pressure
Good banking business sense with strong entrepreneurial mind
Well-versed with Office applications
Fluent in English and Mandarin (fluent in Cantonese is preferred)
Excellent Chinese and English writing skill
Experience in business / ESG research analysis is preferred

Economics & Strategic Planning Department/HK Financial Research Institute of BOC is responsible for strategic planning & development, macroeconomics and global financial market research, merger & acquisition strategy, offshore RMB development as well as the development of Southeast Asia.
The department also assists senior management in strategy implementation and monitoring, conducts business and market analysis, coordinates RMB business development, formulates regional development strategy, establishes business platforms, develops ESG and digital strategy of the BOCHK Group to achieve its visions and strategic target.
