City News Service hosted a specialized research event titled "CNS Loyalty Program: Your Voice Matters" at it's first offline service station in Huacao International Community Center last week.

During the event, expatriates residing in the Huacao area were invited to share their perspectives, insights, and recommendations on life in Shanghai. The initiative aims to further promote the engagement and participation of expatriates in community development and governance efforts.

Foreign participants take part in a research activity held by CNS Coffee Talk and Huacao Expats' Conference.

The activity includes a brief introduction to the CNS platform.

Expatriates at the event expressed keen interest in the specialized research activity, sharing their thoughts and offering feedback on the services provided by the CNS platform.

Intrigued by the conversation, Tsc Tempest from Australia expressed an appreciation for the feedback and the exploration of activities to enhance the quality of life in the region.

"I find the CNS platform to be incredibly useful as it provides a localized space for accessing various pieces of information," said Chris Pratt from Britain in the interview. "Gathering feedback is crucial for its improvement, and I'm particularly excited about the upcoming baseball tournament in October. Improved integration would greatly facilitate organizing sports tournaments more efficiently. I believe more activities like this would benefit everyone in the community.

"As for the type of community I aim to achieve, I prioritize fostering a strong sports-oriented community, especially given my professional background in sports," he added.

Ketaki Charekar from Germany, who has been in Shanghai for a year, expressed appreciation for the event, emphasizing its role in facilitating open expression and inquiry.

She said she believed CNS was valuable for staying informed about community activities, particularly in relation to sports and children's activities. When asked about her expectations for similar events in the future, Ketaki expressed enthusiasm for gathering more information and generating further suggestions.

"I feel really positive about today's activity," said Diana Moya from Mexico.

"It's wonderful to witness people considering expats like myself. I find it truly enjoyable to engage with Chinese individuals and learn more about their culture – it's a valuable experience for me. Regarding the CNS platform, this is actually my first encounter with it. When informed about the abundance of information it offers, I expressed interest in trying it out later."
