9月10日，视频博主“蓝战非”在抖音上发布视频称，在湖北襄阳唐城景区游览、观看演出时，景区对中外游客区别对待，将普通游客集中限制在固定区域观看，并被要求给11个外国人让座。
Popular Chinese blogger Lan Zhanfei recently posted a video on Douyin, expressing his dissatisfaction with an extremely unfair experience he had at the Xiangyang Tangcheng Film and Television Base tourist site in Hubei province. During his visit, tourists were confined to a designated area and were compelled to relinquish their seats to accommodate 11 foreign visitors before the start of a show.
襄阳唐城景区的做法在抖音和微博上引发了网民批评。据《环球时报》报道，该视频已被点赞41.5万，同时有6.1万多人在评论区表达愤怒和不满。
These practices quickly sparked widespread criticism from netizens on Douyin and the social media platform Sina Weibo after Lan posted the video. The video received 415,000 likes from netizens, while more than 61,000 people expressed their anger and frustration on Douyin.

该博主指出，有数千名游客在襄阳等待观看演出，大家都花了126元购票进入。
Lan pointed out that there were thousands of tourists eagerly waiting to watch the show in Xiangyang, and each individual had invested 126 yuan ($18) to be there.
襄阳文旅局工作人员表示，对事件正在核查。但“襄阳盛世唐城”和“襄阳文化旅游”账号在该平台的账号已被设置为私密不可见状态。
While the Xiangyang Municipal Office of Culture and Tourism stated that they would 'investigate and verify the facts', the official Douyin accounts of both the Xiangyang Tangcheng Film and Television Base and the Xiangyang Municipal Office of Culture and Tourism have become private accounts.

9月10日晚，“襄阳盛世唐城”微信公众号发布致歉信。信中表示，景区当晚为外事活动设置部分表演区域，因故推迟演出近7分钟，影响了游客的旅游体验。为表达歉意，所有购买了9月9日门票的游客，可在一年内免费游览景区一次。
On Sunday evening, the "Xiangyang Shengshi Tangcheng" WeChat public account issued an apology letter. In the letter, it was mentioned that the scenic area had designated certain performance areas for an event involving foreigners that evening which resulted in a delay of the performance by nearly 7 minutes, affecting the overall tourist experience.
As a gesture of apology, all visitors who purchased tickets for September 9 will be entitled to a one-time free visit to the scenic area within the next year.
唐城景区官网介绍，该景区作为影视拍摄地接待过《妖猫传》《天盛长歌》《将夜》《九州缥缈录》等作品。景区工作人员表示，还在对这起事件进行调查，公司专门的机构将通过网络进行回复。
